I was born in Philippines and migrated to the United Kingdom in 2003 for a job offer from one of the biggest care company provider here in the UK. As senior care assistant - I've been assigned to 80 bedded residential and nursing care home here in Manchester and ran 20 bedded residential unit. My main responsibility includes: Medication administration. Ordering of clients prescriptions. Arrangement of hospital and GP appointment and visits. Care planning, risk assessments and monthly audits of all individual documentations. Equipment's used and care products supervision. Assistance in daily task and to ensure that mandatory training is updated. In 2008 I resigned and joined the Council Adult Services as a casual support worker/carer - I have been working in a different setting of care such as short stay services for elderly and people with physical disabilities , patients who need rehab for the elderly ,home care and assisted living I am confident to say that; base on my training and experience. I am a well qualified carer , I am reliable, respectful, empathetic, organised and an overall caring person. I am up to date with all mandatory training, medication management, moving and handling, first aid, food hygiene. I'm more than welcome to provide work and character reference along with DBS check if needed.and before i forgot to mention.i do also work as a private carer as partime job.Hope to meet you soon.thank you
