I left to work in the community and support people in their homes to live as independently as possible. I felt I could provide a more personalised experience this way. I have lived in Eastbourne most of my life, I like to get out for walks in the countryside or along the beach. I am taking swimming lessons, I’m a good cook and am trying my hand at baking (although it doesn’t always turn out perfectly!). I feel confident moving and handling, using hoists and other equipment and have supported people with MS and cerebral palsy among other conditions which effect mobility I also have experience supporting with stomas and catheter care, as well as conditions which often effect the elderly including early and late stage dementia and bed care.
