I am conscientious and excellent at juggling multi tasks and working under pressure. Over ten years experience of working within the care field, I am confident in providing compassionate care to different individuals with various care needs, including the frail elderly with dementia, end of life care (palliative care), supporting individuals with mental health issues and learning disabilities. The best aspects of my job are being able to help people and have a positive influence on their lives. I enjoy meeting different people and it is really rewarding when I manage to turnaround their life positively. I am a dedicated woman with a vision to transform any given position using the experience gained through innovative and dynamic ideas. I have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member whilst demonstrating and monitoring high standards of care practises to the care team and ensure these are maintained by all staff. Always open to new ideas and willing to learn and can learn very fast. I have a strong belief in continuous professional development. I got exceptional ability to communicate to an array of people from different backgrounds on various levels from academic to business associates to individuals with mental, physical and learning disabilities. I have found out that effective communication, good listening skills and patience are essential when carrying out my work practice in promoting and encouraging individual rights, independence, choice, fulfilment, values and beliefs. I have experience and ability in planning and organising the team’s work through implementing the organisation’s performance management policy and ensure that designated staff carries out their duties in a way that maintains high standards as required. I achieve this through role modelling. I work with others as a productive team player and expresses individual viewpoint whilst sensitive to the input and needs of others. I believe my knowledge, experience and willingness to contribute and ability to works as part of the team could bring an added advantage to your organisation.
