I have worked in various care settings in large and small homes supporting vulnerable adults, those with dementia, learning and physical disabilities and with hearing loss. I really enjoy my work and am dedicated and professional whilst also bringing an element of fun to the clients I work with. I am able to connect and build relationships with people from all backgrounds and enjoy working on a one to one basis to build a good rapport. I am able to liaise with other health professionals such as Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and G.P’s to provide a holistic approach to care. I am proactive in assessing my clients needs and supporting them to access the relevant services in a timely manner. I strive to do my best everyday under all circumstances and treat everyone with dignity, respect and empathy whilst encouraging and promoting independence and choice. I enjoy learning new skills and am happy to have any necessary training for client conditions that may be new to me. I am able to cook tasty, healthy and nutritious meals as I have a background in health and nutrition. I really like researching and implementing enjoyable and social activities for my clients to participate in. I can also help you with light housework and decluttering. I am looking for female clients only. I prefer to work with clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting. I currently have availability on :- Saturday 12.30 to 5.30pm
