I believe ...More I have experience of over 20 years working with different client groups with different care demands. Nursing homes ,residential, learning disabilities, physical, home care, palliative care /EOL and live in care. I am a loving, companionate and a good listener easy to adapt to situation. I believe learning never ends, I believe in updating all my training so as to be well equipped with my work. I use person center care, I believe in respect, privacy and dignity when offing care.I believe in person centerd care approach. I enjoy exercising and cooking knowing nutrition plays a big role in a client’s health physically and mentally. I am looking for live in clients on a part time basis Monday to Friday within a 60 miles radius of LS10 postcode however I do have flexibility to increase this to 7 days if required for a stretch of 3 weeks on and one week off. I have been working as a senior HCA for the past 15 years so I have experience of managing a team of carers. As a live in carer I prefer to have my 2 hour break each where possible.However I prioritise my client if I have to compromise when need be . I do not mind having pets in the clients home however I have no experience of caring for them. I am happy to work with male and female clients.
