I have been a domiciliary carer for 7 years, in this time I have supported a variety of people with different backgrounds and health conditions. I have helped people with social and physical activities, booking and assisting people with appointments, personal care and general home help. As a carer it is my responsibility for providing the best quality of life possible for my clients, even in stressful or demanding situations I try and go an extra mile for vulnerable individuals, I find the work I do is hugely rewarding. I’m a caring, friendly, approachable, and respectful person who has passion for helping those in need, I always put clients at ease whatever their physical or social needs. I have completed all relevant training such as Health and Safety, Risk assessment, Food Hygiene, Moving and Handling, confidentiality and professional boundaries courses. I treat every day as a learning experience which enables me to enhance my knowledge and skills.
