So, my role is to support them in achieving their needs. l go into their houses, and it is my duty to show respect from them, their needs, and their home. I have been lucky to work in all fields of healthcare as a live-in carer, residential home carer, community carer, and support worker for both adults and young people. I have worked with people with mental health issues, physical disabilities, dementia etc and l continue to enjoy being a part of their lives. I have worked with the end of life and ensured they remained dignified to the end. I have empathy and respect. I love cooking and baking and general having conversations. l have met and worked and looked after some amazing people and always enjoy hearing about their life stories.
