I provide Live-in, Hourly, and Overnight care to those in need, with a variety of care types, including bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. My priority is to help people lead independent lives, and it's a joy to provide assistance to those who need it. I'm a very caring, friendly and helpful person, and I love meeting new people. I'm highly motivated by helping people live independently, and that's what keeps me going each day. I can drive and have a car, and I have experience in caring for patients with mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, those with Parkinson's Disease, and those struggling with anxiety and depression. When I'm not caring, I enjoy walking, dancing, playing card games, and cooking and baking. I'm also passionate about decorating. During my weekly daytime job, I provide welfare support to over 65s at the acute Gloucestershire hospitals on a part-time basis. Outside of these hours I can provide my private clients with support before their discharge. This may involve social visits, cleaning and preparing their home for their arrival (including a grocery shop). Depending on their mobility, I can assist the client home and settle them in. This service can extend to a Sleep-in shift if the client does not yet feel confident staying alone over night. This service can be adapted for couples. Avlon is an exceptionally caring, responsible and competent carer. She takes initiative, is hard-working and intelligent, with a pride in her work. She goes above and beyond to ensure an excellent service to the person she cares for. She has been responsive and quick in all communication. Despite her youth, she is experienced and knowledgable. I cannot recommend her too highly.
