I am keen to inspire everyone irrespective of age, religion, race, gender or. disability. I believe that throughout my most recent occupation, working with people with disabilities and difficulties in communicating/performing day to day activities, my wish to pursue career in the care profession has grown. As a support workers have the ability to access where support is needed. I also communicate well with management and colleagues to support a team atmosphere. In addition, despite having raised two beautiful children who are now successful adults, my current job has given me the increased confidence to deal with unexpected problems and circumstances when working with those that required support while adhering to policy. I believe my experience have allowed me to gain knowledge on behaviour management and equip me with the strategies that I can use effectively. I am really excited to work in a job that is important and feel privileged to be part of a team and making a real difference
