I have experience working in community, hospital, reablement social care, Mental Capacity, and Best Interest/Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. I am passionate about Equal Opportunities and person-centred practice, hence committed to supporting people with life challenges to attain their aspirations. I am skilled in communicating effectively, developing warm interpersonal relationships, preventing and managing challenging behaviours, and supporting the rounded care needs of my service users. When required, I am able to assess needs and risks, plan and review complex social care needs, supporting individuals to regain independence after illness, as well as identifying adult safeguarding concerns. I have a good understanding of social care legislations, policies, procedures and theories.
