She went through a lot of pain, could not remember a lot of things in her earlier life-being a young girl and her employment. I could not stand it and so I decided to become a nurse so I could care for people like her. I only realised when I grew up that she suffered from dementia. With the desire to become a nurse, I did some voluntary work, caring for orphans, widows and the elderly and this made me even more determined to achieve my goals. When I came in the UK, I started working with elderly patients and did an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care in 2015. I saw this as a foundation for my future career as a nurse. I studied an Access to Nursing course in 2017 and know I am pursuing my Nursing Degree. It is quite challenging for me, but I am really enjoying learning again and doing course work and meeting deadlines for assignments. This has increased my knowledge, skills and experience and understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of my future role as a nurse. I have a lot of relevant experiences in the health care sector as I have more than 10 years’ experience as a health care assistant in nursing home, Hospital and in patient's home I have learnt a lot during my study of Adult Nursing, I am ready to look after to valuable patients because of the experience I have gained, when it comes to caring for patients. I feel I have good communication skills to words patients. My experience working as a health care assistant taught me to work as part of a team with other professionals and discover my talent for providing re- assurance to people who may be feeling anxious or confused. These skills and personal traits I believe are essential qualities in caring for patients. I have a particular passion and ambition to care for people who are the most vulnerable in society. As a future nurse I have a wider responsibility to care for my patients For instance, I will be able to put more into a patient’s wellbeing through administering the correct medication, giving first aid in case of emergencies and working very closely with other health professionals. In addition to my studies and being a mother I have an active personal life. I have travelled extensively in other part of the world and I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I also enjoy reading novels recently I read The Healer’s War by Elizabeth Anna Scarborough who talked about dealing with not only healing the battle wounds of soldiers and other books about Autism awareness. I learnt health care professional will recognize the courage it takes to keep it together in such a stressful situation. I know that as health care professional it will be a challenging job and It is my aim to combine my range of experiences with my ability to be a compassionate and approachable practitioner who will make a positive contribution to my patients by supporting the diverse needs of individuals in their care. As I mentioned that I am currently studying and in my final year of Nursing, My availability will be limited but I can work evening hours, weekends and some days when 1 am not at university. Please don't hesitant to contact me incase you like my profile I will be available to answer your questions.
