I am an experienced carer/companion/helper and competent driver offering friendly companionship, inside the home and with the option of out-of-house explorations and gentle adventures for people in need of some friendship, care and support. I have experience and compassion in particular for sufferers of dementia, helping with focus, lots of attention, motivation and inspiration on a regular and reliable basis and can provide you with an anchor through regular visits during times of change or uncertainty. Skills in abundance: patience, maturity, good sense of humour, caring character, creative and artistic with current driving licence and own transport, a kind disposition and keen to develop a lasting relationship with delicacy, humour, and tact. Extra Duties could inlcude: taking for drives or walks, local expeditions, making art and/or art tuition, drawing & sketching trips, painting sessions, getting creative (I bring all tools materials and expertise to you), accompanying on social or other occasions, or just sitting and being. I am a good cook and enjoy creating interesting, healthy, well-balanced meals from a viariety of cuisines, including English, European, and Asian. As a dance practicioner I am also interested and happy to help with any physical exercise regimes you might appreciate extra motivation with, including accompanying you to exercise sessions. I am a good communicator and work well both as an independent companion, or as part of a care team providing safe, supportive and high level of professional and friendly care for my client-friends. I am flexible and interested in learning new skills, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss your specific needs. Availability: Part-time roughly within 20 miles of OX13.
