To help the client live in their home with family, friends and healthcare professionals support them. I see a great benefit in assisting clients within their home, It promotes person not people centred care which removes monotony and by rule ensures the clients wishes to remain in their (family) home. I love to promote a simple service of making the client feel at ease, happy and positive in their home. CLINICAL CARE SKILLS HCA (England) Vocational Certifications and Skills up to date, including manual handling and Medication administration skills. Including Basic stoma management (cleaning the area and changing bag), Catheter Care- basic hygiene, bag change, application of convene (indwelling or suprapubic), PEG -sight care, Basic first Aid and minor wounds, New stoma, Ileostomy, nephoscopy (first three months), Catheter flushing, PEG for medication or nutrition ( in line with SALT, medical professionals and pharmacists) LIVE-IN CARE SKILLS Languages - As a native, English is my first language, I can express well-structured ideas fluently. I am also an advanced reader and writer with the ability to understand detailed text on a range of subjects. I promote reading and visual descriptions in my care support.
