I am 25 years old and I am a Nigerian. I have a BSC in public health from a prestigious university in Nigeria. I’ve been a carer for about 2 yearsI moved to the UK in August 2020 to join my husband. I started my first care job in September and worked with them till December and decided I needed a change so I left. I stayed home for a while applying to other jobs, starting work again in January. I have experience with caring for people with learning disability and also people with physical disability. I’ve cared for the older generation. I like to cook, listen to music, read novels, watch movies and spend time with loved ones. Going on walks is also something I love doing. I really enjoy being a carer because I get to help people, I get to support people and make their life easier. This has aroused the desire in me to become a nurse, I hope that one day I’ll go back to school to study nursing.
