I worked in care homes for the elderly for six years and also obtained my NVQ Level 2 qualification in social care during that period. I am currently a Live-In-Carer for thirteen years caring for the elderly with various conditions. Now I am looking for better position. I have good communication skills good care skills and am client friendly. I have undertaken mandatory training every year which gives moving and handling skills, basic life support skills, dementia care, nutrition, medication prompting, safeguarding, equality and diversity plus many more skills essential to competent care at home. The many placements I have gone through so far have given me the confidence to perform comfortably in the job that I do.

Egipha gave a high quality of professional care in both the practical daily care tasks and the emotional companionship we wanted our mother to enjoy. We found her to have integrity, to be diligent and reliable, and she was experienced in her caring which included highly dependent and complex needs.
