I worked as a registered childminder from 2006-2013 then I changed my career and started working with children and adults as a tutor till present. I looked after my father he was bed bound for 5 years, thereafter I looked after my mother she was house bound for a similar period of time, I used to help my parents with all their affairs except personal care i.e. incontinence and house cleaning because other carers had duties for these tasks. I'm a mother of three children they are grown up, so I have sometime to work as a carer as I have a passion for working with children and elderly people. I can work from 7:30am-4pm weekdays apart from Tuesdays and Fridays 10am-12pm. I'm available in weekends as well from 1pm. I prefer working in the borough of Tower Hamlets, Newham and Hackney because of convenient distance. From my childminding work and looking after my parents as well as raising my three children I have gained lot of skills and experiences especially how to be patient in all circumstances and how to be a good listener, I believe these are the two main skills a carer should have in order to work with children and elderly people effectively.
