I began caring quite by accident, I had a business which did not survive the last recession and started care work because I could fit it around closing my business down. To my surprise I loved my change of career. I was the best move I have ever made. I have almost 13 years experience in caring for people combined with many years working in health care for the NHS. I have worked hard and enjoyed helping people by providing a professional and compassionate approach. I am a good listener and have lots of patience. I try hard to care for people in the way they prefer. I have worked with people with dementia, MS, incontinence, stoma care, frailty, mobility issues, chronic conditions, end of life care and many more areas. I enjoy helping people to be as independent as possible. I am experienced in helping with personal care, eating, cooking, cleaning, light gardening and caring for pets.
