I would say I am empathetic, a good listener and genuinely care. I am definitely a people pleaser and strive to make the people I support feel safe and supported within their own home. I am comfortable with any task from personal care, cooking or just lending an ear while cleaning, my aim is to give support where requested and help my client feel comfortable while remaining at home. I believe that mental health is key & will always try to encourage my clients to stay positive even though this can be very hard for them some days. I am studying for my level 3 in social care and have my care certificate. I have been trained while working in care homes in moving & handling, basic first aid manoeuvres, safe guarding and am comfortable dealing with any professional bodies that may be required. I live in Redditch and happy to consider the surrounding areas.
