Five of those years have been in a managerial role. I am a passionate career and strongly stand by promoting choice and independence where possible. I’m a warming, friendly person who will always do my upmost best to ensure a high level of care is being delivered. The client group I am most experienced with is young adults with learning disabilities and mental health. Specialising in Autism, Epilepsy, ADHD, challenging behaviour, self-harm and anxiety. Although I am familiar with elderly care and mental health conditions such as bipolar, depression and schizophrenia. I have experience with incontinence and pad changing, assisting with personal care, house keeping, medication, participating in meaningful activity, cooking and have strong administrative skills. I have a full drivers license and happy to drive clients where needed. I currently hold an NVQ level 2, 3 and 5 in Health and social care/ management. Along side being a care worker over the years I have qualified as a hairdresser and worked in various administrative roles. Skills I would be happy to offer to my clients. I absolutely love the outdoors and very much an animal person! I have a small dog named Bailey who I adore. I love sightseeing and exploring but also love a good movie and staying in. I am a non smoker, professional but most importantly fun and friendly.
