I enjoy cooking, walking, reading, travelling, music, eating out, theatre, socialising & have a fun sense of humour. I’ve been a shared lives respite carer for 3 years now. I also have previous experience in home care for the elderly and daycare for adults with disabilities. I worked in a secondary school for 7 years as a pastoral manager, safeguarding and supporting vulnerable students, a role that regularly involved working closely with various outside agencies to achieve best outcomes. Along side these skills I have 25 years experience supporting my daughter with complex additional needs, behaviours & epilepsy. I’m also a qualified reflexologist. Reflexology is a complementary therapy delivered via the feet, very good for relieving stress and promoting deep relaxation. On a personal level I know how precious and invaluable getting care right is! Im naturally ambitious about delivering high quality consistent care and wish to extend my services to support as many people as possible.
