Having worked in day centre with this vulnerable class of people, this has opened my way to understand difficulties encountered daily by this client group in accessing main stream services. I have work in way that I advocate and support my clients physically and emotionally in coping with daily challenges. I'm able to draw a support plan with my clients, agreeing to activity that are suited to my clients, tailoring care provision according to an individual needs. I Also give room while I'm drawing up a support plan with my client for periodical evaluation and review to acknowledge where the plan is not working and this leads me to make improvements and changes to make sure my client Is in the best care possible. I am a team player, I am able to contribute positively to my team as I'm reliable, punctual and flexible. If a colleague was sick, I have tendencies to respond fast to emergency calls. I have previously been part of many working parties that improve clients well being. I have good knowledge of helping clients with personal care in all areas, I have worked in hospitals as a health care assistant, which has given me an opportunity to give personal care to patient while in bed, ranging from giving bath in bed, to helping with bathroom materials. My training is being constantly updated so that I can be the best and give the best quality for my clients. I am able to work with little or no supervision. I use my personal initiative to carry out some task. I am aware of my responsibilities as a care worker, as there are lots of documents to be completed even I am on duty. I have good administrative skills and have many experiences with writing letter on behalf of my clients. I have learnt that even little the accident it should be recorded or reported as safety Is something that should be put first.
