I have been a carer since 2003 so have a variety of experience due to working in various sectors like care homes, private care which includes one-to-one, live-in care as well as domicillary. I have handled different types of elderly with different care needs which includes but not limited to the use of hoist, lifting and handling, catheter, stoma care, administering medication, personal grooming and report writing. I also have experience of dealing with elderly with dementia, parkinson's disease, stroke, catheter care, stoma care, palliative care, companionship and to mention a few. I also love to cook for my clients, do shopping, drive them to appointments where necessary, feed them where necessary, house keeping, laundry and all other assistance needed for the client's care. I have always enjoyed helping people with individual and domestic problems. Other interest includes cooking and swimming. I have also travelled abroad several times enjoying the opportunity to broaden my knowledge and interest in other countries.
