I am passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals by working in the person centred care to achieve independence. I am great listener, and I pay attention to details. Currently I am studying BA degrees course in Health and Social Care. I have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and GCSE in English, as well as other professional training courses such as moving and handling, safeguarding of children and adults level 3, health and safety, and other related care certificates. I have experience of working with clients that require hoisting, I have worked with electric hoists, ceiling hoists, standing aids and sliding sheets. I prefer to evaluate my clients moving and handling requirements during the meet and greet to advise whether it will be a 1 or 2 carers work load. I specialise in early stage dementia, stroke, depression and mental health issues. I am able to assist with personal care as well as domestic care, and providing one to one support. I have experience working in multidisciplinary team, I am also good at identifying any changes in clients needs. I am great at multivariate and engaging my clients in activities as per their care plan. I take great interest in reading, listening to music, listening to clients telling me their life stories, crossword, word search, domino, walking and family adventures. I am happy to have cats in the home while caring for clients, however dogs will be evaluated on an individual basics.
