I have been working in a variety of care environments for the last 20 years. Despite the challenges in the care sector, I enjoy working with all the wonderful people I meet, supporting them to lead meaningful lives and staying as independent as possible. I also learn a great deal from all my clients as they often have beautiful stories to tell. I have a vast experience and would be happy to work with the following conditions: all stages of dementia, Alzheimer's, mobility issues, the use of hoists, behavioural difficulties, arthritis, diabetes, learning difficulties, memory problems. I am confident in liaising with health professionals having worked as a home manager in the past. I have a car and would be happy to use it to access community with a client. I have a very positive approach to life and believe there is always a way to tackle a problem. The people I work with are always at the heart of what I do. I am currently looking for clients to work on a 2 weeks on and 3/4 weeks off basis. I have experience of caring for couples my rate would increase for providing this service. When delivering live in care I prefer to have my 2 hour break each day. I am looking for work to start at the beginning of February 2024. Thank you for listening Best regards, Maggie
