I am currently a senior support worker and a second years student nurse and have experience in the health care setting for up to 15 years, I’ve worked in different settings of care, general adult and children wards in different hospitals, worked in mental health as a senior support worker assessing ...More I am currently a senior support worker and a second years student nurse and have experience in the health care setting for up to 15 years, I’ve worked in different settings of care, general adult and children wards in different hospitals, worked in mental health as a senior support worker assessing people with mental health issue before making their treatment decision, I worked in different care homes as a senior care assistant where manage a whole unit and administer medication to aid their day to day lives, I’ve worked with different sets of people like elderly, people with dementia, people with diabetics that I needed to monitor their blood sugar and manage them with insulin administration, I’ve worked with young adult and elderly with self harm, and different forms of disabilities like autism spectrum, down syndromes, brain injuries and many more, I work perfectly in a team to achieve the same goal and work brilliantly as a lone worker, I follow organisation policies and procedure in any shift I’m on, I communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues and I maintain confidentiality at every point in time, except on a need to know basis. I’m a very hard working person that loves my job.
