My experience and background has provided me with exceptional knowledge and confidence to perform all functions of this role, During my time working as a healthcare assistant, I enjoyed developing great rapport with people I help. I Am a trustworthy and dependable individual who takes great satisfaction in caring for people of all cultures. I am dedicated, hardworking and able to take on new challenges in order to put a smile on the clients faces. I am a lively team player who works well with co-workers and colleagues as well as my clients. During my time caring for vulnerable adults most of my daily routine consisted of getting them washed and dressed in the morning, giving them meals during the day, keeping them company as well as giving them space , putting their needs first as well as respecting their privacy and dignity. I believe this course will be great for me because it will enable me to expand my knowledge as well as my experience , which could then possibly lead me to becoming a senior health care assistant, my plans for the future is to own my own care home one day. Although Being a health care assistant comes with a lot of challenges, I do believe it’s also very rewarding. I’ve learned through out my years as a carer that patience, respect, being supportive and understanding are all very important key roles in the care field. I have taken specific training courses on Food Hygiene, Manual Handling, Basic Life Support as well as general training courses, putting this training into practice has allowed me to prove to myself, and to others, that I have what it takes to make a real impact as part of a care team. I do believe that whilst studying this course I will learn more new things and to be able achieve a qualification at the end of the course is something I’ve always wanted.
