I have done for the past couple of years long-term placements which involves me staying with a client for a maximum of 16wks at one time before having a week off. I believe this is really good for people we care for as too much change could bring Anxiety to the client due to too much upheaval and change with carers every couple of weeks. I have specialist skills in moving and handling, dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stoma care, depression, stroke, catheter bags, physical difficulties , learning difficulties and many more …. I am kind, caring , compassionate and I show empathy with every client i look after. I give 100% to my clients and put their needs and well-being first. I do go above and beyond in my role because I love my job, And my only regret is not doing it sooner. Previously i trained to be a chef. I did this for 10 years . so I try and implement freshly cooked meals for my clients I am looking to cover 4 weeks in August 1-29th 2024 And then 2 on/2 off starting 18th Sept I Look forward to hearing from you
