I have worked as a care assistant all the way upto management I have also done the same in supported living. I have worked with the elderly and young. I have supported individuals with mental health, physical disabilities, challenging behaviours and those requiring rehabilitation support. I love being hands on in a role even as management I feel that's the best way to learn about the people you support. I have personal experience from a young age looking after my mum who has MS and this was part of the reason I went into this line of work. I have done everything from doing rotas to writing care plans and working directly with service users. I work well with problem solving and have a passion to make life better for the people we support. My hobbies involve cooking, watching boxsets and DIY.
