During my employment I have learned how to handle various situations professionally and efficiently using my qualities, relevant training and collaboration with medical and community resources. My role involved administering medication, personal care, catheter care, skin care, continence promotion, companionship, household tasks, cooking, administrative tasks, physical, mental and emotional support, planning creative activities, pet care, working in a person centred way. Also, I have worked many years abroad (Greece) as a domiciliary carer, live-in and live-out carer and as a private carer, as a baby sitting and as a house & pet sitting as well. In addition, I had an experience as a caregiver to my mother-in-law, who had Alzheimer’s, heart disease and I provided her palliative & end of life care. My experience in the healthcare care industry, my caring and empathetic nature and good interpersonal skills give me exceptional confidence and practical knowledge needed to perform the role of Live-in care. It can be challenging at times, but I have a strong passion to help and support people in need, making a difference in their lives, especially when they are in distress, and I am deeply committed to treat them always with dignity and respect. Excellent references and documents in place. Hobbies: reading books, classical music, pets, volunteer at animal shelters, nature, science and technology, studying, psychology, graphology, criminology, crosswords.
