I came to the UK on holiday in 2001 and loved it so much I relocated within 8 months. I started my career as a Carer in 2002; first in a care home and then with a London agency for 4 years, after which, in 2008, I joined a national care agency and have worked as a self-employed Carer since. Total number of years as a Carer = 20. I'm friendly, approachable, a good listener and hard working. I have experience with varying levels of dementia, as well as a number of chronic conditions. I also have experience of anxiety and depression care. I have provided compassionate end of life care, helping to make clients comfortable at home as a live-in carer. I work well with other palliative care team members, such as Nurses, District Nurses, and doctors, as well as supporting family members with respite care. I enjoy preparing good, wholesome meals for my clients and enjoy experimenting where required. I am happy to assist with feeding when necessary, and to prepare attractive, tasty meals to encourage appetite. In order to help my clients look their best, I can assist with hygiene, toileting, and dressing. As part of my duties, I'm a happy to provide some basic household tasks, and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full clean UK driving license and enjoy taking clients on outings. I do not have a car. I love reading, especially crime fiction novels, biographies, and travel journals. I’m passionate about UK history, the sea and countryside and love long-distance walking and exploring new areas, especially villages. I enjoy travelling and am prepared to travel outside of Kent for any bookings longer than 10 days, as well as London for shorter periods. Please do contact me if you think I could help you, and I’ll reply as soon as I can. Thank you.

Cindy looked after our mother for the last 6 months of her life which towards the end had challenging moments. Always professional, generally cares, has attention to detail with kindness, compassion. Always kept a daily diary and updated the family, looked after our mother by living in to enable the family to have respite and was there to support us all through to the end, we thank her dearly.

It was a pleasure to meet Cindy. Always willing to help and to talk to. I would not hesitate in recommending her. Thankyou very much Cindy, it was a relief to me knowing my parents were in safe hands. x
