I f...More My passion for this job aroused when I had personal experience looking after a family member who has mental health problem and my aged mother who had physical health problem that l took time to research into caring for them with such needs. I did this and l made a great difference in their life. I found this self-satisfactory to myself as my mother began to live comfortably and the other family member with mental health problem learnt how to cope. On getting to the UK to join my wife, l feel comfortable to get into the Health and Social Care Setting,I got employed in a care services organization in May 2021 where I acquire experience in personal care and support. I have good verbal, non verbal and written communication skills, l understand the importance of documentation and know how vulnerable an individual with mental and physical health they can be. I have taken my time since l came to the UK coupled with the experience I am still gaining from my present employer to learn about how to protect vulnerable people. I understand how to promote independence and to promote choice with the concept of consent. I am a fast learner, flexible, easily adaptable and ready to be trained and learn more. I can demonstrate empathy and treat people with respect and dignity without any discrimination. I am fully vaccinated against COVID 19 including my booster. I will be a great and valued carer/support worker to you if given an opportunity.
