I have lived with my grandparents for most of my life so I have considerable experience helping the elderly. Both my grandparents have additional health needs as one is in a wheelchair and the other has COPD. Part of the reason I joined Curam is so that I can help others to care for their loved ones too. I have experience with special needs young adults in my family. I am familiar with social, emotional, communication and behavioural deficits. I am aware that ASD can be similar for those with dementia too. I am happy to provide basic care for clients, as well as household tasks like cooking and cleaning, admin, shopping, companionship and pet care. My hobbies include reading and drawing as I find these relaxing and I would love to publish a book. I also enjoy outdoor activities, am fairly active and hike often with my rescue dog. I am looking for clients in the Liskeard, Saltash and Plymouth areas. I currently do rely on public transport but am going to be starting my driving lessons soon.
