I have worked with different care setting’s for years both mental health, physical challenge and other’s, of which I’ve gained a lot of experience understanding the needs and want of been a good care support worker. Understanding the frustration of not being able to help yourself when you want. Having different people invading your privacy in the name of support can be so frustrating. A good carer should understand that is not just a job but having the empathy of the people we support which make us a good carers. I am happy to assist with cleaning, which is one of the major priority in care as to prevent infection. I can also support with personal care, shopping and cooking. It’s my responsibility to make sure my clients eat very healthy as well as protecting them from any form of abuse. I am also willing to ascertain all the daily activities to make sure my clients are happy and well as long as it’s approved by the clients family. I will also like to spend a good and long quality time with my clients to know them better. Looking forward to seeing you remain blessed.
