My time I have gained lots of experience and certification. Especially in Mental health first aid, Food hygiene, Autism awareness, Positive behavioral support, Manual handling. I am also a certified First aider. Previously I was a House Manager in private Retirement living complex in Edinburgh for McCarthyStone management services. in this position I was based in 2 buildings of 50 apartments for the over 65s age group. I coordinated various elements in this job. Especially working in social interaction and encouraging participation in events that I organised in the communal areas. I worked through the pandemic, which sadly I was the only person entering the building. When no relatives could. I assisted with shopping and ordering with supplies, overseen the the constant cleaning of the buildings. I gained lots of experience with the Home owners whom needed support due to poor health. interacted with their families and liaising with social work,GPS and other care providers to get access to services that were required to live a full healthy life style. I am also a hairdresser of 30 years. which could be beneficial to those clients whom may want to have their hair done at home. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Gillian
