I believe in giving excellent care and treating others with dignity and respect. I remain up to date with training and practices. I am competent with wound care, catheter insertion and care, Stoma care, diabetes monitoring and insulin administration, Injectables, Phlebotomy and cannulation, Naso-gastric /PEG feeding and care. I am competent in manual handling / Home-excercise, using a wide range of hoists and mobility aids. I am skilled in a wide range of personal care tasks, domestic duties as well companionship. I adhere to the client's care plans and provide effective, non judgmental care in line with health and safety. I have good communication and listening skills. I am understanding, empathetic, and strive to find common ground with clients. I personally enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am an "eclectic listener" in term of music, I enjoy traveling, films, reading and taking my dog on walks.
