Some clinical setting experience as a was a pervious nurse 21 years ago. But due to family commitments I had to quit. In the last 5 years I’m working in live-in care settings. I am Reliable, loving, compassionate, thoughtful have good sense of humour and listener skills. I am also doing a course in psychology & counselling with the open university which will enhance my career path to not only be of help to my client but also to the clients and the family when and then needed. I am multicultural and person centre which give me more understanding as to my job role and expectations to people in general of different cultures and backgrounds, I love pleasing my client and making sure their welfare is of great standard. I have plenty of experience within the community as well as returning home from the hospital to be rehabilitated at home. Finally I must say I enjoy working with couples, as it give individual client a sense of reassurance and comfort with the changes they are about to experience with the many changes. On the other hand single client is a joy to be with from many of my experiences. Duties I can preforms are and attended to are :- Dementia care. Mobility care and familiar with most mobility equipment such as hoist and and walking aid. Nutritional awareness to prepare healthy meal of your choice, moving and handling . And a lot more skills. Prescription order collection and liaising with doctor to get client booked in and attending appointments. Can assist with weekly or monthly shopping. Hygiene looked after such as Dressing and undressing, showering or bathing . Basic house work as it priority to keep a safe and healthy environment for my client. Lasting but not least a good relationship of understanding you more of how you like things done and undone. I am a good companion to have around at all times. I drive so going places shouldn’t be a problem if required. Distance in travel to my place of work is not an issue . My Driving experience is 22 years never had a accident of that sort Very clean driving licence this and many more hidden qualities. Thanks for your time.
