I have been a self-employed live-in carer since 2007. The flexibility of work dates tied in well with my four children's school holidays, all having attended a naval-related boarding school in Suffolk. My husband was in the RN for 25 years. I find that working with clients who suffer from dementia to be particularly rewarding as it is vital to form an understanding, a rapport, an empathy, a trust which results in a successful client/carer relationship.

I am compassionate, kind and a good listener. I am always willing to help people who ask me for help or I believe need help with something. I am good with everyone especially children because I just love children so much. I am currently doing Health and Social Care Level 3 and this September will be my last year in college. I want to become a nurse so I can get the opportunity to help people more and change their life in a positive way. I have a level 2 certificate in Health and Social Care but I also did a manual handling and first aid training which I have certifications for. I am looking for clients to offer my services as a PA only. I am only available after 5pm on weekdays and the whole day on weekends since college is now open.
I am a patient and experienced carer. I always give priority for my Clients, more than anything I always listen to patients and put a smile on my clients face - nothing makes me more happy than seeing patients who are always happy! I worked as a carer for a company and also, I helped my mother. I am well known for listening to people, and always be next to the people who need me.
