BA21 3EN 238644 I am an experienced carer, doing care for over 8 years. I have worked in different care settings. I started working in the community, doing home care, and afters I worked for a Rapid Response Rehab team-NHS. I have been working with adults with learning disabilities for over 5 years and I am also doing agency work. This gave me the opportunity to go to a lot of different places like care homes, hospitals, hospices. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people with very different conditions and needs, and also different ages from 12 years old to 105 years old. I consider myself a confident carer. I am very attentive to details, don't like jobs half done. I am driven and would like to think I am always doing the best that I can to look after people and make sure they are well looked after, safe and happy. I enjoy making a difference in their lives. I consider myself compassionate, kind, calm, warm, very caring and empathetic. I am professional, hard working, I work good under pressure, I am good with time management, I like to work in a team, but I can also very well do lone working. I always put all my heart and soul in my work and I will go extra miles for the people I look after. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

BA21 3NP 255994 Hello lovely reader. Thank you for visiting my profile. Hope I can be of assistance to you. I have 15 years of wide range of care experience from being an NHS Health Care Assistant working and needed on different wards, with different conditions as listed. I also worked as live in carer, and respite carer, care companion, caring travel companion, carer/companion for events, occasions, and 12, 24 hours observation after operations in patients' houses. I can do a live in arrangement for 2 weeks maximum at a time. The shortest agreement with me is: 5 CONSECUTIVE hours TOGETHER with out break in one day: Please note, that this means, that I will not do shorter- hourly shifts at any time, so for example, I will not agree to come for 1 hour to " get someone out for bed nor do I come for just 1 hour to "put someone to bed". I Must Emphasize this, because many people asking me this ,and I always say, I only work "shift work, so many hours together. Thank You for Understanding. My aim is that recuperating/after operation clients get stronger and better with my support, become my friends and recommend me to their friends and acquaintances who might also need assistance. I enjoy listening stories of people and getting out for fun events and holidays if applicable, as companionship is the heart of care that I provide with heartfelt love, warmth and tender care. I also believe that being a carer is a calling, I enjoy seeing the difference my TLC makes for my recuperating patients/clients. I enjoy seeing people perk up, when they feel listened to, and well cared for.✨️? Have a lovely day, warm wishes and looking forward hearing from you if you have any questions. Please feel free to message me. POLITE NOTICE: Please make sure that you tell me ALL and EVERY health concern before arranging me to help you, in order for you and me to see if I am the best fit for your exact needs, or perhaps recommend other curam carers who could help you best. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":"0","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":"0","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":"0","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":"0","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":"0","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":"0","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":"0"}

DT73TS 65544 I am currently booked up with work now until autumn. Always worth messaging me however as circumstances do change at short notice. I work on a relief basis so do please message me to enquire? My rates for Bank Holidays are time and half. Other days usual rate. OFFERING RESPITE WORK rather than long term placement for foreseeable. I have 35 yrs plus experience in caring for people with different needs, in a variety of settings. I am looking for respite care opportunities covering carers breaks or extra care support needed as a transition from hospital back home. I also enjoy supporting people who need some support to live an independent, full and rich life. Also available for palliative care support. I have had previous experience in this area and appreciate the need for patience, calmness, kindness and flexibility. My primary aim has been to support people to remain living as comfortably and independently as possible at home, to enjoy life despite of challenges and ensuring the family members are also listened to and feel equally supported in collaboratively caring for their loved ones. I worked for a company that works with service users with Parkinson's for 5 yrs and I trained carers in understanding the particular needs of those living with this condition . I have supported people with dementia, anxiety and mental health issues, strokes, learning and physical disabilities, end of life and much more. For the past 7yrs I have been a self-employed carer working in the community. All my work has arrived through personal recommendations. Recently a client said of me " you are irreplaceable, there is only one Helen!" My care is of the highest standard and tailored to your needs. I am happy to arrange a meeting with you to discuss this in person before agreeing any shifts should that be of help? Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. TA19 0DU 178339 RELOCATING TO DEVON I have been working as a carer for 5 years. My background has been mainly been in customer support and service roles, while building successful relationships. I am a patient person who brings transferable skills such as being approachable, trustworthy, reliable, friendly and compassionate. I have worked with adults and young adults with learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome and challenging behaviour within both supported living and care roles. I have worked with different levels of mental capacity and supported with medication and personal care and those with eating and drinking needs. I have supported individuals with dementia but who were also diagnosed with LD. I have supported individuals with MS, cerebral palsy, muscular atrophy, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s and dementia. I have experience with PEG feeding, hoisting incontinence and catheter care. I did a health and social care course when I was 17 and worked in a SEN school with one day of college. Unfortunately I left before completion because I was unable to help one of the children suffering at home and I struggled to deal with this at such a young age. I then had a variety of customer facing roles over the years but always thought about trying again in a support role. It was when I was unhappy working in retail that I met many carers that popped in with people they were supporting or caring for and conversations led to confidence. I wish I had continued all those years ago because I will never be happy in another role now that I have such a rewarding one. I would say I am a really good cook because it’s something I enjoy. This also makes me a good carer. I did a nutrition and health course a few years ago so I am able to produce healthy, nutritious meals that taste good too. I like arts and crafts. I love nature and photography and walks with my dog. She is getting old but still behaves like a puppy. I like to spend my time relaxing or walking with her. If you feel I can help you, please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1"}

EX13 5QW 97918 Having worked for the NHS Rapid Response team, and Seaton Bank,on moving up and down the country,various nursing and residential care. As an auxiliary support worker and HCA within the NHS. I have been in care for 35 years. I enjoy working independently and taking responsibility, I enjoy my job, and look forward to overnight stays with continuity of the client. Clients like continuity and feel confident to the same carer visiting. Building confidence and trust is important. I have had covid vaccines and up to date to put your mind at rest. I enjoy cleaning, ironing, and washing if that is required through the night. I have hands-on experience with Stoma Care, Hoisting both with ceiling track and manual. Glide sheets, manual handling, repositioning, peg feeding, and pressure care experiences. Weekend work is no problem as I prefer weekends, and can do overnight live in for Saturdays til Monday morning if needed, but not during the week. At 60 I finished a degree in Animal Sciences, and passed Animal Welfare and Management degree. I enjoy the company, caring and helping rescue, fundraising for good welfare of companion animals abroad. I have worked for Cats Protection with rehoming and home checks, and animal welfare checking. I have a happy disposition, work out at the gym as a hobby, like walk and visiting foreign destinations. I have a positive outlook. Nothing really phases me with nursing and care and keep up with modern technology and medications. I give 100% to my patients and can bring new ideas, only if asked for. Over the years I have worked with Dementia although this is demanding keeping calm, defusing situations Is usually the best way, every situation is different, every person individual. There are some very unfair diseases out there, and each one of us is left to cope with what we are given.
