WV14 0RW 75559 I have been a Carer for 5 years including supporting clients with Dementia, Physical and mental disabilities, children with Special needs and challenging behaviours. I enjoy helping and supporting people.  I genuinely care about people and want to make a difference in people's lives.  A typical day as a Carer would look like, I greet the client with a positive attitude, asking how they are, what they would like to do, I understand the importance of being valued & respected regardless (being seen and heard) of the health condition and disability. It's so important to work around the clients needs i.e. find out what they like to do etc. I always provide person centred care and adapt to each client ensuring their needs are met safely and within their care plan. Having things in common like playing board games, singing, cooking etc makes it an enjoyable pastime for client and the Carer.  I work within the given times to organise, get priority tasks done and work with the client. I do my best to provide enjoyable companionship as it's important to work well together. I always like to create a positive experience as I have a friendly personality which enables me to be good with people. I like to leave the client feeling better being around me at the end of the day and complete routine tasks/additional tasks to the best of my ability. I do my best to show up as a great Carer by looking after myself physically and mentally so I can best look after the clients needs in return.   Being able to adapt and build a healthy relationship with the client is essential and by delivering the upmost professional care service with integrity is vital. It's important that the client feels comfortable around me within  healthy boundaries to support their needs. In my spare time I love going for walks in nature, going to exercise classes like Yoga and Pilates. I love travelling, exploring new places of interests and going to the theatre. I am self published Author of a poetry book. I enjoy reading and listening to Audio books especially on self development, looking after my health and wellbeing, mediating, practising spirituality, listening to ambient music. I very much like cooking healthy foods.  I love going for walks in the countryside and I am fine with pets as I have managed to look after 2 cats on a 1 week live-in-care placement. Although, I do not have my own pets at present but we had a dog when I was a child.  I do love animals and supported many clients in the community who have had cats, dogs amongst other creatures. :-)  I have experience of live in care as well as care in the community.  I am available to undertake hourly work if not working in my live-in care role.  Happy to discuss further. :-)  0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

B31 1HJ 110099 Currently am booked till Friday 28th September 2024. Please continue reading my profile, thank you. I am caring, approachable and a patient person who loves working with people. About 16-17 years ago I gave up my high flying career in sciences to return home to care for my father who has passed away. Then helped Mum with her slow recovery from serious spinal injury. Collectively over 6 years unpaid care experience. Currently I have accumulated 4 years experience as a professional employed carer. I’m a good listener, enjoy learning of others life experiences and history. I enjoy cooking and feeding and trying out new healthy hearty meals which may be vegan, seafood, meat, British, Chinese, Indian, gluten-free, etc. I myself am a pescatarian (vegetarian who eats seafood and fish). I can definitely do a good roast. When my clients eat well, heartily, I know they are happy and doing well. I have worked as a Live In Carer with people with intermediate to advance dementia, Alzheimer's, the elderly with limited mobility due to severe arthritis, spinal and brain injury, as well as difficulty with communication, visually and hearing impaired, accident rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, allergies. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cleaning, medication administration and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full driving license forb business use, take clients for medical appointments, assist with administrative tasks, and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends or a meal. I enjoy watching TV, binge watch series, going to theatre, walks, reading novels, play board games. My home language is English. In addition am fluent speaker in Urdu / Hindi, some Punjabi. I wish I continued with French in school. If you have any questions or think I could help you then please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you. Questions are welcome. Depending on distance can arrange in person meeting after an initial Curam Meet video call. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

B17 8ER 91687 I have 6 years experience of working in the care in the UK, I have worked via care agencies working in a wide range of care home, elderly hospital wards and live in care. Self-motivated, hard working and disciplined. Cheerful and reliable with a loyal and honest nature Dedicated to self-development, with strong determination. Skill base suited to a pressured environment and team work Ability to work efficiently and always striving for excellence A challenging environment and working professionally with different cultures is always welcomed. I have now come to realise that my passion is for live in care where possible, I am looking for 3 week on 1 week of rotation, I am happy to work with male and females. I am experienced and able to work with clients that require hoisting, I have used electric hoists, standing aids and sliding sheets. Over the period of six years, I have developed a culture of loving cooking good food, so making sure my client has a good balanced diet it's one of my priorities. Due to the experience I have past 6 years in the care industry I am able to monitor my client health well, should be there any changes I'm able to recognise it and know which equipment will be suitable. I am happy to have dogs in the home while caring for my clients, however I have no experience in caring for them so I prefer to concentrate on the needs of the clients. B7 5px 2616 I have been a carer for over 15 years, working with two year olds to 109 year olds. I feel really pleased when I see my clients enjoying activities and have a smile on their face. As i am passionate about my work. I always find a way to make my clients feel relaxed in their environment and if any problems occure I will go out of my way to get further help. For example my last client was suffering due to his mobility getting worse. I called the doctor, nurses and the occupation therapy team to assess my client for further help with mobility. Within a week the toilet seat was raised, a commode was given, rails and handles fitted within the property. I was very pleased that my client got all the help he needed and my client was very grateful. I have cared for clients with complex care, dementia, stroke, chronical kidney disease, heart disease, infection, and epilepsy. I am well experienced in working in different backgrounds. I can also speak Panjabi, hindi, Urdu, Mirpuri. I really enjoy cooking and getting all clients involved in all activities that they enjoy. I like to put a smile on my clients face, that makes me very happy. Please add £40 towards travel and £40 towards food. Many thanks. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

At the moment I am not flexible but I can do days and few nights. I could do 1 week living in as long as I am notified few weeks before the shift. My hobbies - Well I like watching films, TV game shows, chatting, going for a walk and bit of cooking. Unfortunately I don't drive but I can get to work to places around Nuneaton, Bedworth and nearby Coventry. I have experience in working in Residential and Nursing home caring for elderly. 1 0 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1"}
