Wv10 9pr 216922 I am a kind caring and bubbly young person who enjoys giving back to the community by caring for those who can not take care of themselves or who are finding challenges in other sections of their lives. In my spare time , I enjoy cooking, going out and putting a smile on the face of those around me. I have worked as a carer in both community, care home and in private live in caring for both young people, elderly in their homes and in the community and also young people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenges. In this job, breaks are also needed so to keep fresh and have the energy to meet the job requirements. Caring is not just a career for me but I do it out of love. The biggest killer as I have noticed is loneliness, hence I am giving myself to Companionship so nobody will feel lonely, isolated and left out.

WV10 9TN 215113 My name is Vennessa and I am a hardworking, caring and professional carer who is always patient and a good listener. I have worked with different clients in my caring career so far which ranges from dementia, end of life, double incontinent and peg feeding. On my day to day job I care for different care needs which helps me keep on top of the conditions that I have experiences with. I would like to broaden my experience and continue enjoying what I do by meeting new people. I have experience in medication administration whether it is orally or via peg feeding, and I also support with persona care and preparing meals. I believe with my experience and skills so far, I can be the best carer for potential clients as I can adapt easily and likes to enjoy activities and hobbies that the client also enjoys. The reason I became a carer was because I always want to make a difference in peoples lives and I believe everyone deserves to have a fulfilled life as best as possible even when life is not going great. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies and also cooking. I love trying out new recipes and I like to make sure I have a homemade meal on a daily basis. Thank you for reading my profile and it would be lovely to hear from you.

WV10 8RT 34682 Within the last five years of me working in the care industry I have worked in care/residential homes, domiciliary and complex care. I have worked with different types of service users, for example I have assisted elderly people with personal care and everyday chores. This includes me toileting, changing continence pads, washing/showering and dressing and undressing. I have also administered medication and applied topical creams and eye drops. During these tasks I have had to use different techniques to reposition people by either using slide sheets, rolling correctly or even hoisting. Everyday chores will or have included help with the laundry, meal preps, dishes, changing of bedding and basic cleaning or even shopping. I have also helped with peg feeding and stoma care. I have worked with people with a different variety of disabilities such as ms, different kinds of dementia, physical and learning disabilities. I currently assist with taking service users with complex needs out to activity centres, play games and encourage them in different ways not just verbally. Within this time I have learnt how to affectively communicate with family members or medical providers about clients needs, medications and help to arrange appointments if needed. I have had training and experience with manual handling and have used a variety of different equipment which service users need. This includes hoist, wheelchairs, slide sheets, rotundas, walking frames and sticks etc. I consider myself very good at communicating, have a positive attitude and always try and be as helpful as I possible can be. I try to keep myself fit and healthy due to knowing how physical the job at hand can become. I have worked with other carers and on my own and believe I am capable of working with minimal supervision as I am reliable, trustworthy, hard working and work in a person centred way. I enjoy working with the community and helping others to the best of my ability, for them to live their lives the best they can.
