I have training & experience with stoma care, catheter care & peg feeding. I am a hard worker. Very reasonable. I do have a very caring & calming nature. I love to laugh, great sense of humour, love to keep clients active & to encourage them to lead a very active & social life. I like to know that when I finish my shift that I have done an excellent job, that your care needs have been met, that you are happy, comfortable & that I have given you some joy. I do house chores, administration of medication, personal care, prepare meals. I like companionship, getting to know clients & about their lives. I like going out on social outings, shopping, pick up medication, take you out for a coffee/tea. I enjoy listening to music, watching movies including the soaps ?, love chatting, love horses, nice walks, bingo, the odd puzzle books & reading. I love exploring places & travelling abroad. I do love to cook, even new recipes I haven’t done before so if I have the list I can do anything. Any dietary needs can be discussed between us so I know to meet dietary requirements. I am happy to look after male & female clients as I have a passion for the elderly & get along with them very well, I treat them like my own family. For night duties start times can be between 9pm & 10pm till between 6-7am but I’m willing to discuss amongst yourself with an agreement of preferred times. During the day I would preferably like to start at 9am & finish no later than 4pm but once again I would be willing to discuss with yourselves to come to an agreement for times to suit both of us. I don’t mind if I don’t have a break during my visit times as I just love my work & chatting away with clients. Sometimes I don’t know how to be quiet because I love talking, I love the interaction with people. I’m a very reasonable person & if there’s any concerns or problems then I will not hesitate to speak to you. I don’t work day shifts on Christmas days but I’m happy to do a night shift. No night shift on Christmas Eve but have availability for New Years but at the rate of time & a half during festive periods. My absolute passion is end of life care. I have great experience in this personally & professionally. I give my heart & soul to provide the best care & comfort I can. I am most definitely willing to do waken shifts. Sleep overs I’m interested in aswell. During day shifts I enjoy the company of people so we can do activities, go out to enjoy the day, put a big smile on your face & know I have made a difference to you. Even relax in your home & do what you want to do. I love to learn new things & love a challenge. Minimum day shift hours are 4hrs. I have completed access to nursing AAB marks may 2023. I am now a student nurse at Dundee university & looking for work to fit around my studies false
