With a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health from the University of Southampton and extensive experience as a Registered General Nurse in Ghana, I have a deep-rooted commitment to delivering exceptional care that is grounded in the principles of the NMC Code and Standards of Conduct, Performance, and Ethics. Throughout my career, I have always focused on person-centred care and effective crisis management, ensuring that each individual receives the highest standard of nursing attention. I am highly skilled in conducting detailed assessments, creating personalized care plans, and evaluating their impact, all while maintaining a strong sense of empathy and compassion towards my patients. My expertise in mental health legislation, medication administration, and risk management has been honed through my experiences working in diverse healthcare environments, including nursing homes, respite care, and hospital settings. I firmly believe in a collaborative approach, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and advocating for patients along diverse care trajectories. In my most recent role within an Adult Acute Mental Health ward, I demonstrated my ability to make sound decisions and adapt quickly to dynamic situations, while still maintaining meticulous records and pursuing ongoing professional development to better serve my patients. As a senior mental health practitioner in the community, I have gained invaluable experience in delivering high-quality care to clients with diverse requirements. I am confident that my extensive background and the experiences I’ve garnered position me exceptionally well to contribute meaningfully to your team and uphold the tradition of delivering outstanding nursing care in community and supported living settings. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

SP4 7RL 75800 I am versatile individual with excellent communication and listeningskills I have proven experience working as a Carer and can demonstrate my abilities both independently and in Team work. I have worked in the care industry for 20+ years, in a range of care settings which include, both adults and children with learning difficulties, domicilliary and palliative care. I also have experience in stoma and catheter care. I have also worked with people with various physical and mental health problems. My love for care came from caring for my father who was left with physical disabilities after a work accident. It brings me joy to help those who need help in maintaining their independence in areas where they find difficult. Being that extra “pair of hands” to make life easier is such a rewarding feeling for me. I like to challenge myself to give the best care I can as every care is not the same and brings with it a new way of caring. I strive to work in a way best for an individual, that is, the way the individual wants their care to be provided not how I want to do things as I am there to help. In my years as a carer I have picked a a little Makaton, which I am looking at learning further with time. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

SO206DN 3185 I have been a carer for just over 8 years and have enjoyed providing assistance when and where required My aim is to ensure clients in my care are as happy and comfortable as possible. I am avaliable to provide care on a day/ night and live in care (short time) I am trained in dementia care, moving and handling, first aid, end off life, oral health care, safeguarding, wound care, hazard risk, the mental capacity act, cosh, equality diversity and inclusion and medication managment. My first job I worked at was a care home caring for residents who sufferd dementia and there were those who were bed bound and also end off life I stayed there for 7 months then decided to work in domacillary. I really enjoyed it going around from home to home caring for those in their own homes. After that i signed up for an agency and worked there in nursing homes as and when im required. I have also ( in that time ) been a live in carer which I also love to do as the one on one interaction is somthing I find very inportant and not only for myself but to know that the clients I care for are very happy content and they feel safe I am a very kind caring compasionate person who can be silly and have a funny sense off humour but also serious and profesional when needed to be. I am a very good listener and love to hear all about the clients should they wish to talk about their lives or any worries and conerns they may have My hobbies include crafts ( although so far i have only got around to watching programmmes about crafts ) but im very keen on any crafts and learning. I love gardening, walking, watching movies, documentaries, gardening programmes and wildlife and spending alot off time with my famiy. I also love to cook and can cook a wide range off foods. I don't drive at the moment but hoping to get that sorted when I can I am also a smoker thank you 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

SP11 6TB 174228 I would like to describe myself as a respectful, observant, reliable, patient, and hard-working person who always provide first class care. Over the years, I've worked in various roles where the need to work closely with other people and demonstrate understanding and empathy have been required. I love to care to assist with the day to day life of clients. With my fourteen years of experience in care in hospitals and in homes as well with lots of training in healthcare, I would like to think that I'm a great carer. I'm also ready to learn to improve myself to be more relevant in the field of care. I am experienced in working with clients who have complex medical needs and will be happy to arrange training and sign off with your nurse. Please contact me to plan a consultation. I like cooking, reading, listening to music, spending time with my family, and doing research on the Internet.
