My journey in the field began as a community carer, where I honed my skills in providing compassionate support. I transitioned to working with children, gaining valuable experience before venturing into a mental health unit and subsequently joining the psychiatric ambulances. I currently work with unaccompanied, adolescent asylum seekers and looked-after children while I'm studying for a degree in clinical psychology, specializing in music-based interventions, neuroscience and neurodevelopment disorders. I have a TEFL qualification and I also teach English as a foreign language. My approach to caregiving is characterized by a calm, warm, and friendly demeanour. I find genuine joy in helping people and contributing positively to the world, whether that's simply offering companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations, or providing more complex care. I've worked in a number of care settings but community care was something I really enjoyed, helping people feel more comfortable in their own home was something I became quite fond of. Outside of my education and work, I have a big appreciation for animals, a passion for music, and a love for cooking.
