I helped my mother look after my grandmother after she had a stroke and it was a very loving, rewarding and priceless experience for me to give back to all the great years of loving and care my grandmother gave me as a child she taught me so much about life and how to do things and I will cherish her for the rest of my life. I had first-hand experience caring for my now deceased grandmother, who in her later years became bedridden and blind. I also looked after my mother, who has muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair and with catheter. Having witnessed my family members struggle both physically and mentally has given me the ability to care for and have empathy for those who are experiencing similar challenges. I also have a family on my own , including three children from a successful marriage of 24years. In these 24 years, I’ve come to see that love is more than just having feelings of adoration for someone, it also shows in acts of kindness and generosity toward others.Since not everyone has the good fortune to experience it, I love to include such qualities into the work I do. This is why I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family and friends , as doing so makes me happy and enables me to help others.
