NG24 4QN 252086 Having worked as a living carer for more than 8 years, has allowed me to gain experience by working with clients with very different needs.   I have worked with clients that needed support with blindness, tetraplegia, cerebral pulse, Parkinson's, dementia early, and late stage, palliative care, accident rehabilitation, strokes, stoma care, peg feeding, cancer, wheelchair use, driving, vulnerable adults and other more general conditions where care was needed. What I like most about working as a living carer is that I can provide high quality of care and support that enables my client to enjoy life living independently in their own home. I am an excellent driver and I hold a clean full UK driving licence with no points or convictions. I am also a very good cook, and I really enjoy cooking.  I can prepare meals for more than one person at a time, and if you are married, or if you would like to meet with friends or family it would be a pleasure for me being able to cook for you and your family seeing you together sharing in the best of company. Sometimes I have traveled abroad with my clients to go on holidays, visit their family, and once to go to a wedding. And If you need to go abroad as well as English I also speak Spanish, Catalan, basic Italian, and basic Chinese Mandarin. And I can drive LHD or RHD vehicles, manual or automatic. I can provide company, and I am also a good listener, time keeper, and organised and tidy and always keen to follow instructions. I love animals, and If you have pets, or other animals, I am more than happy to help in any way I can. I can work for a short length of time, and for longer periods, from a week or a few days to up to 3 months at a time, and then I usually have a break for a week or two. You may find that my rates are a bit higher than other carers, but you will notice the difference in the quality of care I provide and in the level of commitment I put in everything I do and the peace of mind that it gives. Please feel free to ask me anything you would like to know, as I always try to be flexible, respond promptly and adapt in every way I can. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile bio. I would really love to hear from you.

NG15 7QW 179537 I’m passionate as a carer for the elderly and vulnerable. I pay details attention to them. I work smart to see that they are well cared for. I ensure the people I care for, whether they’re family members, elderly people or people recovering from an accident or long-term illness, feel safe, secure and most importantly that they are being treated with dignity and respect. I have 3years experience with in care industry and have worked with different service users with different health conditions. Passionate about my Job. As a good carer I am passionate about the care I provide and the needs of the people I care for. I ensure the care service is person-centred and in the interest of the service user and their families, often going the extra mile to make sure the appropriate level of care is achieved. Passionate carer like me view working in the care industry not as a job, but as a professional vocation and will always want to learn more and build on their existing professional development, knowledge and skills. Passionate carers view working in the care industry not as a job, but as a professional vocation and will always want to learn more and build on their existing professional development, knowledge and skills. A good care worker may hold experience and qualifications in Health and Social Care as well as completing specialist and specific training for health conditions such as Dementia and Parkinson's. Empathy and Patience A good carer has empathy and the ability to put myself in the shoes of the people i care for. The ability to do this allows me to fully understand the needs of the service users and will tailor the care i provide around their understanding to ensure high quality, person-centred support. I will always be patient and will understand that it’s what I achieve that’s important, not how long it takes I to achieve it. Being Positive and Encouraging I understand the importance of positivity and how it plays a huge part in someone’s well-being. I will always greet the people they care for with a smile and a positive attitude. They will encourage the people i care for to do what they can and will support where needed to ensure they are living as independently as possible or that their mental health and wellbeing is being attended to if required. Reliable and Respectful of Choices I am dedicated to being on time and understand that being late can affect the routine of the people i care for. I will often go above and beyond what is expected to ensure the service users are comfortable, safe and that all needs are met. Being Observant with Excellent Communication Skills I would save countless lives with my observation skills. There have been many occasions whereby as carer I have noticed signs and symptoms, which has led to health conditions being recognised early for the ones I care for. being observant can also help with identifying issues and ensuring my client eats, drinks and sleeps enough. do this allows me to fully understand the needs of the service users and will tailor the care I provide around the understanding to ensure high quality, person-centred support.
