SL1 6PP 251221 I am a dedicated healthcare professional with 20 years of experience in hospitals, residential care, and home care settings. I have extensive experience providing one-on-one therapeutic interventions for young people facing mental health illness and eating disorders. Additionally, I have worked closely with elderly clients in both residential and live-in care, supporting individuals with dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, stroke recovery, and post-hip replacement rehabilitation. My compassionate approach allows me to build strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care. I am fully equipped to assist with all aspects of personal hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living support. I am also happy to accompany clients on shopping trips, walks, or drives. However, due to allergies, I am unable to work with clients who have pets. I am now seeking a new opportunity where I can utilize my skills and experience to make a meaningful impact on those in need of care and support. I am currently recovering from a small operation so I am looking for work starting middle of April 2025.

SL2 5TY 268547 In 2021, at the peak of the COVID19 pandemic, I decided to undertake a health care assistant course. Coming from a finance academic background, this was a major shift from any other course I had done in my life. However, it was necessitated by the need to volunteer at a nursing home which had recently opened in my community. I come from a culture where we highly value the elders in our community, and the chance to interact with them, attend to their daily needs and ensure they are able to carry on with life as comfortably as possible was my driving force. This is only something I was during on my free time; little did I know that it would become a full-time job. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work as a health care assistant in various capacities. I have worked in nursing homes, home-based care, worked as a support worker for persons with learning disabilities and also worked as a mental health support worker in a mental & addictions hospital. I love to treat anyone who is under my care with utmost respect and dignity, no different than what I would like any of my close family to be treated by a carer. I customize my care approach based on the client`s specific needs, because I understand that we are all different. In instances where the client already has a care plan, I strictly adhere to the care plan. Finally, I always listen to those placed under my care; it does not matter if they have severe dementia, or mental illness. We all want to be listened to, and one deserves to be patronized. I`m highly experienced in manual handling. Having worked in various nursing homes, I have come across a wide variety of hoists, specially customized to each service user based on their needs. Moreover, my years working in both home care and nursing homes has provided me with loads of experience when it comes to helping service users with their nutrition and dietary needs. On the other hand, working as a HCA in mental health and addictions treatment program, has been life changing for me. It has taught me to be patient and empathetic, and the realization that sometimes all people need is someone who will give a listening ear without passing judgment. I`m always eager to learn new skills, and working at a new station or with a new client is always an opportunity to learn something new. Furthermore, I`m always keen to learn new things in my role as a health care assistant so that I can continue providing the best service to my clients. I`m flexible to work with both male and female clients.

Hp13 7sx 25404 Everyone is great in her/his speciality, being able to satisfy what the client needs, want or expect will make one great, having a good relationship, having a professional bond with your client makes one great. Knowing that the client is smiling, happy, trust me, is free to communicate with me with whatever they want to makes one great. Living with a total stranger day and night and at the end depending on each other makes one great. Being able to listen to and offer helping hands makes one great. Being great is knowing that I am not doing it for money but making that client look and feel great. I have worked in the health and social care setting for nearly ten years. I have worked as a healthcare assistant in the hospital, as a support worker in the community at residential homes and now I am doing live-in. I like to help individual, support them to continue to be able to live independently in the comfort of their homes, care for those who need to be cared for and so on. I like sports like tennis, snooker, watching world cup football, swimming and going for walks including exercising. I prefer to cook meals from scratch and l also like to relax and chill watching some television programmes.
