Since my friend's passing I have worked with a variety of clients through Curam, as well as with a private client from October until March this year. Up to this point my references have been uniformly positive. I have two 'Excellent' recommendations on Curam. I would describe myself as independent, conscientious and an organiser. If your environment is very cluttered or disorganised, this would need to be sorted out before I can start working with you. I have my own car and am happy to travel anywhere in the country for the right position. I do not charge clients for travel to or from placements. I came to live in London 30 years ago and naturally worked in the care industry. I have worked with various client groups including the elderly who have dementia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, mental illnesses, physical disabilities, visual impairments, brain/spinal cord injuries, in nursing homes, residential and their own homes. I have also worked with young people with challenging behaviour who live in residential homes. For the last 12 years, I have worked as live-in carer with the elderly delivering care and support in an effective way that is safe, appropriate, that meets their needs and protects their rights. I have a full UK driving licence.
