Listening to those people made me wanting to help them more and most especially reassuring and creating confidence in them. I have worked on a project called EPP, expert patient programme and this, introduced me to people who had a variety of health issues/ long term conditions. The programme was to help them manage their conditions .This makes me a superb carer for many patients have passed through my hands. The most fascinating client I have worked with for 5 years who just passed on last month, had a very rare condition called FOP-A rare genetic connective tissue disorder. This client encouraged me to self teach myself about that condition which made me an outstanding carer and I was able to bring more life to him. I have done courses on Mental health and I am in position to care for someone suffering from anxiety, depression etc... I have worked with patients who had stroke and early dementia and I managed them very well. I am passionate about my work caring, kind and always bring joy and happiness when I am on duty. I am experienced and confident, I am trustworthy and I have good communication skills. I always have a listening ear to my clients/patients. I provide emotional support to my clients/patients and I am a self motivated worker as well as dedicated to my job. I also have hands on experience from in-house training on how to use NIV: Non Intensive Ventilation but no certificate. For Live out, I would prefer to work Monday to Friday. For live in position, I am only available for Friday to Monday 2 weekends in a month as I am currently working with a client the other 2 weekends. Also, I am happy to cover areas in about 30 to 40miles . For the position of live in, I would have 2 hours break so Family or Client have to arrange cover for that break time. Bank holidays are charged at double time. Here, I worked, as a Male Support Worker. Also, I attended a lot of trainings. As, I worked for a couple agencies, my job was to assist to vulnerable clients in their homes. Stay in their homes and help people with personal care, to do shopping, to drive them to the medical appointments, or to their relatives. My personal goal and aspiration in all my roles within the health and social care is to support individuals to live a safe and quality of life and to work in a way that supports them to reach their true potential and goals. I have worked as a care assistant, supported worker and later Managed 3 residential provisions registered with CQC for adults with learning disabilities. Two of the services were a supported living service and the other was a residential unit. Main duties were: Assisted service users to achieve their aspirations and be supported with all levels of care with compassion, care and empathy, prioritising their dignity privacy. Run the day-to-day management of the community based staffed house for people with a learning disability/ the elderly. Maintained high quality care which met identified standards. Ensured that individual tenants were supported and provided with opportunities and choices. Participated in the direct provision of tenant’s care and General management of services overseen. Responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Departments health and safety policies and for the health and welfare of all individuals using or visiting the building. Responsible for the first line management of the inspection process and with residential services manager to respond to and plan the completion of required identified standards by the inspector. My main role as the CETR Lead, has been to work with a range of stakeholders, NHS, private and voluntary sector providers, Continuing Healthcare and Children’s Continuing Care, Local Authorities (Children’s social care and SEND Education), NHS England, people with learning disabilities/autistic spectrum disorders/ mental health problems, their families and experts by experience to provide timely and robust support to avoid inappropriate in-patient admission to enable the child or young person to live a safe, fulfilling life at home or in the community. I also work with commissioners, staff and other agencies to ensure the suitability of services and provision of care to meet complex health needs to ensure appropriate use of NHS resources. I have successfully gained lots of experience in operating in complex, multi-disciplinary systems and managing risks.  I have conducted very complex CETR’s both in an inpatient unit and in the community. I have been part of making very strategic decisions and recommendations which have been success stories for children and young people who were at risk of being admitted in hospital but got the support and services needed to prevent this happening, making them safe and happy in their homes and community. I have had the experience of complex diary management, working in complex, multidisciplinary environments and working to tight deadlines and managing own time. I am looking to create regular clients, work towards knowing them, creating a professional bond to assist in meeting their needs. I enjoy cooking and am happy to assist with very balanced and nutritious meals for my clients, listening to their preference and diary needs. I can do cleaning, I.e. vacuum cleaning, washing, making beds, ironing, mopping etc when required to do so. I am happy to have cats and pets at clients residence and can feed them.
