Especially helping them retain their independence for as long as possible! Also giving respite to stressed/ struggling family members & helping their loved ones to find peace & dignity near the end of their lives.✨ I'm really looking forward to meeting my next lady or gentleman that I will bring sunshine & smiles to the life of! ☺️✨ I will be your personal assistant & do my best to make every day of your life one of the best days of your life! I thrive on appreciation, so I always try my best to provide a good service. ✨ I'm compassionate, caring, friendly, respectful, experienced & hard working. I have 32 years experience in total of caring for others & doing housekeeping duties & I can clean to a very high standard! I have done it full time for the last 13 years & can provide excellent references from my previous employers. I enjoy my job and like talking with clients as I perform my duties if they like that too. ☺️ I have a lot of experience with people who have dementia and also who have had a stroke. My skills include; cooking, driving, great companionship & I love animals, horses, dogs and cats especially. ☺️✨ I am experienced in personal care and I enjoy helping clients look their best. ✨ I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full clean driving license and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends/see places/performances etc. ✨ I am primarily looking for a live out job, but I would consider a one week on, one week off possibility of living in. I love looking after other people & helping them lead a healthier and happier life & have the best quality of life for as long as possible. ✨ A couple of years ago one of my elderly clients very sadly passed away, but before she went, she asked me to look after her beautiful little fur baby called ‘Tilley’ so I became a dog Mummy with absolute honour & pleasure! I love my dog very much & I love taking her on walks etc. ☺️ She's very friendly, clean, well behaved, doesn't malt, or smell at all ! So if you like dogs, I can bring her with me if you'd like me to, as she's a fantastic therapy dog and I promise you, you will fall in love with her and look forward to seeing her as much as you do me! ✨x If I sound like the sort of person you would like to have helping you at home, I'd love to hear from you to arrange a time to meet up etc, so please feel free to give me a call/message me etc. Rachael (& Tilley!)☺️✨x 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

BN3 5RA 60825 A strong calm sensitive person who enjoys helping adult and elderly people live the best life they are able. Reliable,kind and gentle and able to adapt to the needs of my client. Learns quickly what help a person needs and able to assist them to organise their lives to include trips to beauty spots and tea out. Good ability to liaise with other professionals to get the support they need, whether from gp, optician, dentist, or social services. I can also drive them to appointments. I find out what meals they enjoy most and make sure they have as wide a variety as possible of fruits and vegetables. I enjoy cooking and am able to cook meat based traditional meals and plant based wholegrain meals. When I cook roast chicken, I make many meals afterwards, including soup from the bones. I was brought up on a market garden and enjoy helping in the garden. I love nature and the countryside, music, Art, books, reading aloud, poetry and crossword puzzles. I understand the benefit of going out to sit in nature, a concert, or having friends round, and I am happy to facilitate social occasions and make sure they are centred around the person I am caring for. I know how to be in the background but can also be sociable if invited. I have worked as a student nurse in Brighton hospitals for 1.5 years, as a domicilliary carer in Brighton for 2 years and in a care home in Hove for 2 years and have been a live-in carer for 7 years. I have looked after a gentleman who had Alzheimers, from diagnosis, as his live-in carer until he had to go into a care home because his house was unsuitable when he could no longer walk. His family are happy to give me a reference. I have been a live-in carer helping a woman walk again with rehabilitation exercises given by a physiotherapist. Also looked after a woman after she had had a hip operation, helping with exercises and going for walks. As a qualified Shiatsu practitioner (dip Shiatsu massage) and a Reiki practitioner and teacher of many years, people find my presence very calming and reassuring. I like to laugh and see the humour in most things and am able to laugh at myself. I am calm in a crisis and have done first aid training many times. I worked as a volunteer in Brighton in St John's ambulance service for over a year. I believe that healthy people, if behaving responsibly and testing very regularly, should be able to choose whether or not to have the Covid vaccination, and I am not going to have the vaccination at present. I protect my health rigorously and test regularly. I do not work with people with extremely challenging or aggressive behaviour but understand everyone, especially if they have a debillitating illness, need to express their frustration at times. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"3"}

CR0 0NP 224035 My name is Pamela, and i have been a carer for over twenty years. I have worked with clients from many backgrounds and in various settings. I have spent twenty years with people with neurological and long-term disabilities and the rest of my working life with clients who have medical needs that need care and support. On the whole, I have also worked in acute settings such as ICU, A&E, and homecare. My work is always outstanding as I do believe in giving your best at all times. I believe that as a lone worker that care must be delivered in an inclusive way and work in partnership with the client, family, and friends. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

I am happy to consider live-in placements of any length, anywhere in the country. I do not charge travel expenses. --- I am a Scottish lady with a Law degree who decided to go into care and housekeeping. I will be starting medical school in St Andrews on the 2nd of September this year. I have been a carer since late 2021, undergoing full residential training with a live-in agency. In my time with the agency I gained experience working with MND, learning disabilities, Parkinsons, stroke, catheter care and late-stage dementia, among others. In May 2022 my friend had a stroke and I was invited by her family to move in and help her to recover. I lived with her as a carer and a friend until June 2023 when she sadly passed away. Since my friend's passing I have worked with a variety of clients through Curam, as well as with a private client from October until March this year. Up to this point my references have been uniformly positive. I have two 'Excellent' recommendations on Curam. I would describe myself as independent, conscientious and an organiser. If your environment is very cluttered or disorganised, this would need to be sorted out before I can start working with you. I have my own car and am happy to travel anywhere in the country for the right position. I do not charge clients for travel to or from placements. I have a full driving licence (manual and automatic) and am insured to take clients in my car. Please be aware that I ask clients to settle their invoices before work begins. Because of a difficult experience in the past, I will not travel to you until this has been done. These funds are held safely by Curam until after the end of the work period and will be refunded if for any reason the work is not completed. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

CR3 5TH 9205 Hi my name Francis but I like to go by Frank. I have over 14 years experience in the care industry, I’ve worked with many different vulnerable age groups from children to adults with varied needs and find this work very rewarding. I have cared for female and male clients. I have business insurance for my car so can take clients out for for the day. I’m friendly, caring and compassionate about supporting others around me that might need help. Meeting the needs of others through care and enabling their independence as long as possible keeps me smiling! I have experience in many different areas of care work and would be willing to work with young adults and children as well as older clients. I am experienced and qualified in - catheter care, peg feeding, medication administration via peg, dementia care, moving and handling, general medication administration, health and safety, general care of vulnerable adults and safe guarding. I also have experience in assessing care needs and building care plans. I am very competent in the kitchen and able to cook meals efficiently. Due to health reasons I have been advised by medical professionals not to have the covid 19 vaccines, instead I do lateral flow tests everyday and make sure I wear full ppe when caring for clients. I have a full clear UK driving licence which i have held for over 14 years. I am currently only doing hourly day care. I cannot work weekends due to family commitments. I am willing to travel up to 7 miles for daytime work. I am outgoing, physically fit and enjoy many outdoor activities like fishing, skating, climbing, and just being outside in nature. I have 2 young children who I love to take out and spend time with. Please contact me if you sense I’ve got the skills & qualities of the type of person you need to meet your person centred needs as this is something I highly value, being person centred based on each individual’ needs! 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}
