Hp13 7sx 25404 Everyone is great in her/his speciality, being able to satisfy what the client needs, want or expect will make one great, having a good relationship, having a professional bond with your client makes one great. Knowing that the client is smiling, happy, trust me, is free to communicate with me with whatever they want to makes one great. Living with a total stranger day and night and at the end depending on each other makes one great. Being able to listen to and offer helping hands makes one great. Being great is knowing that I am not doing it for money but making that client look and feel great. I have worked in the health and social care setting for nearly ten years. I have worked as a healthcare assistant in the hospital, as a support worker in the community at residential homes and now I am doing live-in. I like to help individual, support them to continue to be able to live independently in the comfort of their homes, care for those who need to be cared for and so on. I like sports like tennis, snooker, watching world cup football, swimming and going for walks including exercising. I prefer to cook meals from scratch and l also like to relax and chill watching some television programmes.

HP11 2TY 225537 I am a warm and kind Care Assistant who can work on the frontline of care delivery, helping patients or users to overcome their everyday difficulties. Due to my combined 7 years’ experience in the care work sector, I have gained many skills, which I believe are relevant for the role that I seek. These include meal preparation, housekeeping, bathing and grooming my client, feeding them, good health and safety standards and providing personal care. I also have knowledge in caring for vulnerable people like children and the elderly. At a community medical centre, I would assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including helping with meals and transferring using assistive devices. I also assisted in physiotherapy and occupational therapy.  I would also have to teach patients to use Zimmer frame and crutches. We were also required to provide emotional support and counselling to patients. I was a Voluntary Care worker at a Children’s Organization before I decided to pursue care work as a sole career or main career path. I would help in providing personal assistance to children with paralysis, autism and Down syndrome, providing emotional support and counselling and assisting in fund raising campaigns to help the children. We would teach Children new skills for them to be independent and do some things on their own that can help them financially like Sewing, Baking and promoting artistic creativity. Apart from ensuring that all patients are looked after physically, I believe it is also important to ensure that patients feel relaxed and happy. Due to this belief, I try to make my clients feel independent and abled and this make them happy.
